How do submissions work?

  1. E-mail a focused idea that you think other teens would want to read to info@threesixtyjournalism.org
  2. The Editorial Board and ThreeSixty staff will consider your idea and get back to you.
  3. If we like the idea, we consult with you and you submit a first draft
  4. ThreeSixty editors work with you to edit and revise the piece. This step helps you grow as a reporter and journalist.
  5. The completed piece is published.

What are some tips?

Tip #1Think about a youth audience! Make sure you offer ideas that would interest your peers and other youth.
Tip #2Wonder about what happens in school, at your job, in your communit, with your friend. All of them can provide good story ideas.
Tip #3Seek and Report Get the facts, interview and research.
