Live from camp: Last day of Introduction to Journalism Camp
Last day of camp. It went out with a bang.
A morning of touring the Star Tribune was very interesting. Imagine a row of cubicles, multiplied by a thousand and that’s what the newsroom looks like. It wasn’t very busy, but it was still cool to see the inner workings of the newspaper I read all the time. Hearing that one person was going to write an article about kite-flying really got me interested in feature writing. It was our tiny classroom working on a new level.
The fun really stated when we got back to camp, where we met with previous ThreeSixty Journalism members. We played the most exciting Pictionary game, and Team Awesome beat Team Too Ligit 2 Quit by 18 to -2. Go Team Awesome! It just shows that the awesome experience of camp won out.
