Live from camp: Three days left
A few days left with the friends I won’t see unless we make some serious plans. I can’t believe three weeks are already over. It feels like just yesterday I met all these wonderful friends. Three days are left. So much to do in three days.
Today has been uneventful, but also stressful. Today is our last deadline day, which means everything we have must be turned in by 3 o’clock sharp. No ifs, ands or buts. Fortunately, I was able to have Annie help edit my story. Although I was skeptical at first, I could tell that my story changed for the better. It now looks professionally handled and worth printing. I wouldn’t have been able to handle such a large project without the wonderful help from the advisors I met. Without Annie, Dymanh and Theresa, I know I wouldn’t have been able to get this far.
They helped me realize how wonderful the world of journalism truly is and I can’t wait to work more with a different group of people than I was used to once this camp is over. I’ve been able to take so much out of this camp that I know will benefit me in the future.
Before I forget, I want to wish Kaia Findlay a wonderful birthday. She has been such a great friend that I got to meet while participating in this summer camp. I hope to see you in the future Kaia!
Again, three days and eleven girls I’m going to miss once camp is over. HEY BEGINNER CAMP, HANG OUT SOON!
