Live from camp: What to do after camp is over

Tags:

5 days left.

I can’t even fathom how to live my life after camp is over.

I’ll have so much free time! But..

I don’t really know if I even WANT the free time.

I could go for a bike ride…..no, it’s way too hot outside. I’d melt.

Well, I could sit in my basement with the fan directly on my face… no, there are spiders down there.

I could get started on my massive pile of AP literature books… no, reading Ernest Hemingway is like eating sawdust.

I could study for the ever-looming ACTs… I don’t even have to explain that now, do I?

I could write short stories about wolves and a jar of jelly…

Wait. Why am I even writing about things to do after camp is over?

I’ll just keep the whole room hostage.

Then camp could go on forEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER AND EVER!

I’m sure they’d love it. I swear I’d be a really awesome kidnapper.

… Just kidding! Kinda.

No really though, I’ve disregarded the whole idea. PSH. It was a dumb thought.

But maybe… if I convince them all to stay…..

NO! SELIN! STOP IT! YOU CAN’T KEEP YOUR FRIENDS HOSTAGE!!!

….

But I’m not actually keeping them hostage if they want to stay….

Good point, if you can convince them to stay, you’re not doing anything wrong!

Exactly.

I have to go work on assuring my camp-mates that they want to stay, by their own free will.

I don’t think it’ll be too difficult. I really don’t.

**And now for the serious stuff. **

SHOUT OUTS:

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TIANA!!!!!! :)

and HAPPY SECOND-TO-LAST-DAY OF CAMP, LAURA! WE’LL MISS YOU!!!!!! :)

**To me, this is the serious stuff. Later kids. **
