ThreeSixty helps develop students’ writing abilities, critical thinking skills and knowledge of public issues – all valuable assets they can apply wherever they go in life. But our greatest hope is that some of the brightest will choose to apply them as journalists right here in the Twin Cities.
Become part of our story
One out of four students served in our summer camps pursue further education in journalism. All of our students tell stories that need to be heard.
ThreeSixty students excel and they give back to their communities. But the unmet need remains great:
- More than twice as many students apply for our summer workshops and after-school classes than can currently be served
- Limited resources means that we can’t offer workshops and training to teens on Indian reservations and in parts of greater Minnesota, where immigrant populations are growing.
- We lack essential equipment needed to train students to use the newest communications technologies –photography, podcasting and videography.
With your help, ThreeSixty can offer more programming, more mentoring and more outreach services to more Minnesota teens.
