Your Turn first runner-up: Jayme Morrow, "Mustard up my nose"

Jayme Morrow is our first runner-up for our Your Turn contest: “What is the biggest mess you’ve ever made?” Congratulations Jayme!

During the summers, I work for Temple Concessions where I go to different fairs and carnivals to work in a food stand selling cheese curds, corn dogs, and mushrooms.

I was in Northfield working at Defeat of Jesse James Days when I made a huge mess. I was refilling a mustard container and as I squeezed the bottle of mustard into the container, the cover blew off. Mustard covered everything, including a random man just walking by.

I probably got it the worst. I had mustard all over my clothes, in my hair, and it even went up my nose!

We all thought it was funny untill we had to clean up the mess. We had to literally scrub the stand from top to bottom. Even throughout the night, we found random spots of mustard we’d missed.

I still have the clothes that I was wearing, but now they are stained yellow from the mustard. I never knew a bottle of mustard could make such a mess, but it did.
